Laughter yoga as a way to reduce stress, improve mood and increase sense of community

“Laughter is health,” we seemingly know this, but the older we get, the more often we forget it… Stressed, in a perpetual rush, we find less and less time for laughter and carefree fun. Meanwhile, the need to feel good together, to smile, to laugh, to communicate vividly, to have supportive relationships is present in us of all.

And that’s really what laughter yoga is all about, which we’ll talk about with our expert, Peter Bielski.

Peter Bielski has been working for more than 10 years to inspire people to think positively and generate positive experiences: to open up to the New, to new possibilities, and to have a light-hearted, warm attitude toward the future, toward the unknown. His main tool is Laughter Yoga, a method he imported in 2013 from India, studying with its founder, physician Dr. Madan Kataria. Since then, he has trained more than 1,000 instructors in the method, taught classes at more than 100 companies, and presented in major Polish media. He is a sociologist and author of books, including “Living Lightly. On how to joyfully be yourself” published by Sensus. You can find Peter at
